A slightly dressier alternative to the rubber wristband - a black stretch cord with a black charm ribbon and Hope Courage Faith Love written on a shiny silver color metal ring

Buy this Black Awareness Stretch Charm Bracelet and show your support and care for the fight against causes such as melanoma and skin cancer. This is a black stretch cord tied to the lead-free metal ring with the words Hope Courage Faith Love engraved, two words on each side, and a small black ribbon charm attached. The cord is tied in a decorative knot on each size. Sized in a universal fit. Individually bagged.

NOTE ABOUT WEAR: *We recommend that you tighten the knots on your bracelets as soon as you receive them* Do this before wearing your bracelet for the first time and as needed to ensure that the knots stay tight. This item features hand tied knots, a custom dyed stretch cord, and metal parts. For longest life and to maintain the nice appearance, try to keep it dry, and wear it like you would a finer bracelet. It is not indestructible like our rubber wristbands are. See instructions tab for tightening knots and adjusting for a smaller fit.

Part of what makes our Awareness Stretch Charm Bracelets special is that the knots are carefully hand tied. While we try to make them consistent in size and knot tightness, you may find that the bracelet you order may need to be made smaller to fit your wrist or that the knots need to be tightened a bit after having relaxed.

Here’s our best advice on how to keep those knots tight and help your bracelet better fit your wrist.

To tighten your knots:

  1. Hold one of the knots between your left thumb and index finger with the short end of the cord pointing to the right.
  2. Gently pull on short end of the chord. You should feel the knot tighten a bit between your thumb and index finger.

*We recommend that you do this before wearing your bracelet for the first time and as needed to ensure that the knots stay tight.

To adjust the size of your bracelet for smaller wrists:

  1. Hold one of the knots between your left thumb and index finger with the short end of the cord pointing to the left.
  2. Gently pull on the cord loop above the knot to tighten the bracelet loop. Pull a little at a time so you don’t shorten it too much too quickly.
  3. Repeat with the other side of the cord so you have even sized loops around the charm.
  4. Tighten the knots with the above directions.
  5. If you need to make the bracelet bigger again, reverse these instructions pulling instead on the bracelet loop in step 2.

*We do not recommend untying the knots. Once untied, they can be more difficult to tie back around the charms.

My husband has melanoma stage 4 for the 2nd time! You see lots of pink support but never black! I ordered enough for family and friends! They are much nicer than the rubber band bracelet ! Nice product and good quality for the price!

I was unaware of this bracelet until my oldest daughter told me about it, The reason I bought them is because I have a daughter age 42 has stage 4 advanced metastatic melanoma. I started a fund to help pay for her our 7 year old granddaughter and our son in law to go to Disney World. I give them to people when they donated money and I explain what the bracelet stand for Black Awareness most people have the wrong idea never hearing about this color bracelet and what it stands for. We hear about the Pink, Blue, Yellow and others in the Media but NEVER THE BLACK AWARENESS, that is very sad after all the skin is the largest organ in your body, I wish they would better inform the importance of Melanoma and how serious this can be, we in our family are all suffering and praying for our daughter.
THIS NEEDS MORE ATTENTION MADE TO THE PUBLIC AS ALL THE OTHER COLORS HAVE.
